TERMS AND CONDITIONS – LOYALTY PROGRAM vidaXL + points

Introduction

vidaXL+ points is the loyalty program of vidaXL ("we", "us", or "vidaXL"), designed to reward our customers for their purchases. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the vidaXL+ points program in Canada.

By joining the program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which supplement the general terms of use and sale on vidaXL.ca.

The vidaXL + points program

When you become a member of the vidaXL+ points program, you will receive offers from vidaXL, collect points and redeem the points you earn for rewards such as discounts.

Membership Eligibility

1. Membership is only open to customers who are at least 18 years old and have created a vidaXL account.
2. vidaXL employees or others who make purchases that exceed the regular household amount are not eligible to participate in the loyalty program.
3. Your membership is personal and non-transferable; only one membership can be taken out per person.
4. Membership is offered at vidaXL's discretion and we may refuse membership to any applicant.

Membership Application

1. Any individual seeking to become a member of the vidaXL+ points Program may do so by logging into their vidaXL account online at vidaXL.ca or during the checkout process. By registering for the vidaXL+ points Program, you expressly confirm that you meet all applicable participation requirements and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Any individual who creates a vidaXL account on or after 2025-09-10 shall, provided they have verified their email address, upon the successful creation of such account, be automatically enrolled in the vidaXL + program without further action required.
3. Any individual who has created a vidaXL account prior to 2025-09-10 but has not previously enrolled in the vidaXL+ program shall not be automatically added to the vidaXL+ program. Such individuals may elect to join the vidaXL+ program at any time by opting in through their vidaXL account.
4. All members, including those automatically enrolled, retain the right to opt out of the vidaXL+ program at any time. Opting out may be done through the member’s vidaXL account or by contacting vidaXL customer service.

Membership Points

1. You will receive eight (8) points for every 100 canadian dollars ($ 100) you spend on “vidaXL” branded items purchased on vidaXL.ca.
2. Points will be awarded and made available to you on your account within 30 days of your purchase (starting from the day the order is placed and confirmed via email). Points cannot be used for any order placed prior to the expiry of the aforementioned 30 days period.
3. We will record the balance of your points in your vidaXL account in the vidaXL+ points section. Points cannot be redeemed until we have recorded them.
4. Points from canceled or returned items will be deducted from your points balance.
5. No points will be credited for purchases from other brands on vidaXL.ca. Points will not be awarded for purchases made through the guest checkout option or through other sales channels.
6. Any purchases you made before joining vidaXL + points are not eligible for points.
7. Points expire 24 months after receipt. In Quebec, points do not expire by the sole passage of time as per Consume Protection but rather by a combination of passage of time and inactivity.
8. Points are personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Redeeming Points: Rewards

1. Points can be used to receive a discount voucher at checkout by selecting a voucher code. The discount is determined by the total amount of points you convert into a coupon.

2. When redeeming points, the oldest points are used first.
3. The discount obtained by redeeming points cannot be used in combination with other discounts.
4. The maximum discount that can be achieved by redeeming points is $ 50 per order.

Abuse and misuse

In the event of misuse, which includes but is not limited to fraudulent purchases, exploitation of technical errors, creation of multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage, or resale behavior, vidaXL reserves the right to cancel all of the member's accumulated and accruing points and revoke all associated rewards.

Communication

1. Upon enrollment, you will receive:
• Membership-related emails (e.g., welcome, account updates, points statements).
• Optional marketing emails with promotions and offers.
2. Marketing emails require your express consent. Consent is not required for program participation.
3. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time without impacting your membership:
• Via account settings.
• By clicking “Unsubscribe” in marketing emails.

Data protection

We process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy policy which complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws (e.g., Québec's Law 25).

• Information may be processed outside Canada; by participating, you consent to cross-border transfers and acknowledge foreign jurisdictions may access your data.
• You have the right to:
• Access your data.
• Request corrections or deletion.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

Changes and termination by vidaXL

vidaXL reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the vidaXL+ points Program or a customer’s eligibility for the program at its reasonable discretion, effective for future transactions. Any changes will be posted on the vidaXL website. Changes will not affect points already earned, except in cases of fraud, abuse, or error.

Applicable law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province or territory in which the customer resides, and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be brought before the courts located in the province or territory of the consumer’s residence.

Definitions

Business: any natural or legal person under public or private law who acts for purposes arising within the scope of their professional activity of any kind;

Consumer: any natural person acting for purposes that do not fall within the scope of a commercial, industrial, artisanal, liberal or agricultural activity;

Member: any natural or legal person who is eligible for and has participated in the vidaXL+ points program.

vidaXL + points program: the loyalty program offered by vidaXL, the terms and conditions of which are set out herein.
